It is widely believed that the 1990 dated Marathon navigators were not issued and that only the 1991 dated watches were issued. I have not had any information from an authoritative source to confirm or otherwise, but the evidence I have seen leads me to strongly believe that the 1990 dates watches WERE in fact issued. This 1990 example came into stock and was subsequently cleaned and serviced for one of our favourite customers. Although generally in good condition there was an accumulation of fine sand underneath the bezel, suggesting service in a dusty, arid environment. The Harley Ronda 373 movement was in good shape however and after being serviced and regulated was looking good and running well.
