CWC G10 watches were issued in a series of variants, from 1980 to 2006.

In 1995 there was one contract for CWC G10s, of around 4850 watches and they were procured under a Royal Navy/Marines contract, with the watches marked with the 0555 service code. These were the only G10s ever supplied with the 0555 service code (apart from a very small number of navigator G10s). As a result the 1995 G10s are of particular interest to collectors and are a very popular variant.

This example is in very good condition, as described in the condition report, and has just been fully serviced.

The watch is supplied on a new black NATO-type strap.

The case and back are very clean and with some minor marks from storage and handling, but the watch appears to be only lightly used and overall is in very good condition. The case back has the correct markings including the 0555 Royal Marines service code, NATO stock number, serial number and issue year. One anomaly to note is that the markings have been mis-stamped so that they are not perpendicular to the battery hatch. With the back aligned to the correct orientation with the pheon point to the crown, the battery hatch is left of centre. The crystal is a flat profile replacement with matte tension ring fitted. The dial and hands are in near mint condition. Please refer to the images to make your own judgement about the cosmetic condition of the watch. The images form an important part of the description.

The watch was subject to a full stripdown, clean and service in July 2025. The case parts were stripped and ultrasonically cleaned and the original ETA 955.102 movement was serviced.

The movement was fully stripped, mechanically and ultrasonically cleaned using waterless solutions and hot air dried. The movement was rebuilt and lubricated using Moebius oils. Images of the movement rebuild are included in the listing. The watch hacks and sets from the crown correctly. All the seals were also replaced and greased, including the back gasket, the battery hatch and crown gaskets.

The watch is absolutely suitable for everyday use, but it is vintage watch so is not recommended for sports or use in extreme conditions. The watch has not been pressure tested so water resistance is not guaranteed. This watch is covered by our non-waterproof 6 month guarantee.
