CWC G10 watches were issued in a series of variants, from 1980 to 2006.

This watch was produced in 2004 - during which fewer than 3000 watches were issued.

The 2004 issued watches were procured under Army contracts with the W10 service code marked on the back. There are four different variations of case back markings, with the higher issue number watches - like this one - having the service code (W10) stamped ahead of the NATO stores code and the serial number and date stamped below the NATO stock number. 'Water resistant 5ATM' is also marked on the case back.

This example is in near mint original condition, apparently unworn/unissued with zero strapburn on the case back, as described in the condition report, and was recently subject of a full service.

The watch is supplied on a new black and grey striped ('James Bond') ribbed NATO strap.

The watch looks unworn, with no strap burn on the case back and may have been unissued prior to disposal. The case and back are near mint condition with just a few very minor marks from handling/use. The case back has the correct markings including the W10 (Army) service code, NATO stock number, serial number and issue year. The crystal is original, unmarked item with matte tension ring. The dial and hands are in mint condition and the tritium dial plots are a nice dark buff colour. Please refer to the images to make your own judgement about the cosmetic condition of the watch. The images form an important part of the description.

The original ETA 955.102 movement was fully serviced in October 2025. The case parts were stripped and ultrasonically cleaned, the movement was stripped and the parts were mechanically cleaned in waterless solutions and hot air dried. The movement was rebuilt and lubricated according to the ETA technical communication. A new battery was fitted, along with all new gaskets.

The watch is absolutely suitable for everyday use, but it is vintage watch so is not recommended for sports or use in extreme conditions. The watch has not been pressure tested so water resistance is not guaranteed. This watch is covered by our waterproof 6 month guarantee.
