CWC produced Navigator G10s with date indicator from the first G10 iteration in 1980 and during subsequent iterations in the 1990s. Thin case G10 Navigators were supplied to MoD in small numbers in 1994, 1996 and 1997. In the mid-late 1990s (and subsequently) the same watches were supplied to the civilian market and it is known that some of these were ordered 'off the shelf' for official issue by individual units, and others were used by serving personnel as personal purchases.
The exact production date of this example is unknown as the case back is not dated, but the presence of a 'C' (marked on civilian issue watches and the lack of serial number or year of manufacture suggests the watch is early 2000s.
The watch is in excellent condition. The case and back are almost unmarked, the dial and hands are perfect. The case back has the correct NATO stock number and pheon, the 'C' mark for 'civilian', but no serial number or year of issue. The crystal is flat profile replacement with matte tension ring. Please refer to the images to make your own judgement about the cosmetic condition of the watch. The images form an important part of the description.
The watch has been subject to recent full service in our workshop as detailed in the condition report below.
The watch is supplied on a grey cotton NATO strap.
The watch is in excellent condition. The case and the back have some minor marks. The dial and hands look mint. The crystal is a flat profile replacement with matte tension ring. Please examine the photographs carefully as these from an important part of the description
The watch was subject to a full stripdown, clean and service in April 2026. The case parts were stripped and ultrasonically cleaned and the original ETA 955.112 movement was serviced.
The movement was fully stripped, mechanically and ultrasonically cleaned using waterless solutions and hot air dried. The movement was rebuilt and lubricated using Moebius oils. Images of the movement rebuild are included in the listing. The watch hacks and sets from the crown correctly and the date advances automatically and date quickset works. All the gaskets were also replaced and greased, including the back gasket, the battery hatch and crown gaskets.
The watch is absolutely suitable for everyday use, but it is vintage watch so is not recommended for sports or use in extreme conditions. The watch has not been pressure tested so water resistance is not guaranteed. This watch is covered by our waterproof 6 month guarantee.
