Nero Lemania '8 day' MoD/RAF issue cockpit clock

Nero Lemania cockpit clocks of this sort were fitted to the dashboards of a variety of aircraft, including jet aircraft such as VC10 and were in both civilian and military use.

This example dates from 1958 and is an RAF issue clock, but the provenance is unknown and it is uncertain what aircraft type it was fitted in.

The clock is in great condition cosmetically and also runs extremely well. Amplitude of over 300 degrees and it is accurate with a few seconds per day.

It winds smoothly and has a lovely swift action to adjust the time.

About 60mm in diameter, it is quite a neat clock and would make a great addition to office, desk, den, workshop etc.
