NOS 1965 16mm US Government issue olive green strap

US Government issue field watches of the Vietnam/post-Vietnam era, like the Benrus DTU-2A/P, Benrus Mil-W-46374 and the Hamilton Mil-W-46374, were issued with 16mm olive green single pass nylon straps with fabric keeper. The original batch from 1965 had grey buckles. The later straps produced in 1969 had the matt black buckle. In both cases the back of the buckle is stamped 'Stainless steel'. The weave is quite distinctive, and strap has heat sealed buckle holes and joints.

They are now becoming quite difficult to source and prices have gone up considerably as a result, but we have just received a small shipment so grab one while they are still available.
