NOS 1980s 18mm MoD Phoenix-type heat-bonded grey strap

New Old Stock UK Ministry of Defence heat sealed Phoenix-type NATO straps, believed to date from the 1980s.

These straps are unused and in perfect condition.

This type of strap has heat bonded joints, no stitching, solid buckle with no spring bar, a dimple in the buckle to hold the prong, and 1 - 8 marked on the back of the buckle, straddling the back of the dimple.

The colour is mid-grey - they look darker in the flesh than they have come out in the photographs.
