NOS 18mm 1990s/2000s MoD Phoenix-type heat-bonded grey strap

New Old Stock UK Ministry of Defence heat sealed Phoenix-type NATO straps, believed to date from 1990's/early 2000s.

These straps are unused and in perfect condition and were acquired in sealed packets with stores label.

This type of strap has heat bonded joints, no stitching, buckle with spring bar, more rounded and wider flat part of the buckle. There is a dimple in the buckle to hold the prong but only in the front with no bulge on the back. There are no width markings stamped on the back of the buckle. 

The colour is Admiralty Grey but more of a French Blue tone than the earlier straps. Colour reproduction in the images makes the colour look a bit more vibrant and lighter than it is in real life.
