The Seiko 7T32-7E70 is a stunning and quite rare 39mm military style quartz chronograph, powered by the Seiko 7T32 quartz movement. Unlike many other military style watches, this one has a real military pedigree in the form of the Seiko Gen 1 and Gen 2 quartz chronographs supplied to the UK MoD as the standard aircrew issue chronographs between 1984-2000, and to which it bears a strong resemblance (the Gen 2 in particular).

The 7T32 movement is part of the same family as the 7T27 fitted to the Seiko Gen 2,. It retains the same chronograph functions, but the 24hr indicator is deleted, the running seconds is moved to the '9' sub-register and teh '6' register is home to the time setting fro the alarm feature, which utilises a piezoelectric buzzer inside the case back.

This example is in near mint condition and has been the subject of a recent case service as detailed in the condition report and has a new green fabric strap with Seiko buckle.

The watch is in near mint condition and virtually unmarked. The original crystal has been replaced. The dial and hands are near mint. Please assess the cosmetic condition for yourself from the images and video which form an important part of the description.

The watch was given a 'case service' in July 2025.The case parts were stripped including removal of the pushers and crystal and ultrasonically cleaned. The pusher gaskets have been replaced, greased and the pushers refitted. The movement was checked and a new Seizaiken 395 battery was fitted. The back gasket and crown gasket have also been replaced. The ceramic piezoelectric buzzer unit was cracked and has been replaced with an OEM part.

The watch has been tested and is in full working order with all functions operating correctly including the alarm, chronograph start, stop and reset, test function, date quickset and automatic advance.

The strap is a new signed two-piece strap fabric strap.

The watch is absolutely suitable for everyday use, but it is vintage watch so is not recommended for sports or use in extreme conditions. The watch has not been pressure tested so water resistance is not guaranteed. This watch is covered by our non-waterproof 6 month guarantee.
