Used 1990s 18mm MoD issued Phoenix-type heat-bonded grey strap (our ref. #21)

A used vintage issued UK Ministry of Defence heat sealed Phoenix-type NATO strap, believed to date from the 1990s.

The strap has heat bonded joints, no stitching, stainless steel hardware, long buckle with spring bar, and a dimple in the buckle to hold the prong.

This straps has been used and is in good overall condition. There is minor fraying around one of the buckle holes. Two extra holes were made at some point in its life, and rather than heat-sealing the holes, some kind of varnish or glue has been applied, which is visible as a dark ring around the holes. Otherwise, no significant staining or fading. The strap has been ultrasonically cleaned.

The colour is Admiralty Grey.
