Used vintage 18mm MoD issued Phoenix heat-bonded grey strap (ref #30)

Used 18mm issued UK Ministry of Defence heat sealed Phoenix NATO strap - exact vintage is unknown. Part of a large lot of vintage issued NATO straps acquired from a collector.

The strap has heat bonded joints, no stitching, solid buckle with no spring bar, a dimple in the buckle to hold the prong, and '18' - 'mm' marked on the back of the buckle, straddling the back of the dimple, and 'Phoenix' marked on the front of the buckle.

The stainless steel hardware is in good, undamaged condition. The strap itself is fairly lightly worn and in good condition with some minor staining and fraying.

The colour is admiralty grey.

The overall length is 280mm and it look the tail has been trimmed at some point during its like, which was quite common practice.
