Used vintage 18mm MoD issued Phoenix-type heat-bonded grey strap (ref #31)

Used 18mm issued UK Ministry of Defence heat sealed Phoenix-type NATO straps - exact vintage and manufacturer is unknown. Part of a large lot of vintage issued NATO straps acquired from a collector.

The straps are identical to the Phoenix-marked 18mm straps also available.

The straps have heat bonded joints, no stitching, solid buckle with no spring bar, a dimple in the buckle to hold the prong, and '18' - 'mm' marked on the back of the buckle, straddling the back of the dimple, and are unmarked on the front of the buckle.

The stainless steel hardware is in good, undamaged condition. The straps themselves are lightly worn and in very good condition with no staining, fading, fraying or other damage.

The colour is grey/blue with a distinct lavender tone, with slight colour variations between individual straps.

Note that one example has been used for the photographs. The item supplied will be of the same type but may have minor cosmetic differences to the strap used from the images.
