US Government issue field watches of the Vietnam/post-Vietnam era, like the Benrus DTU-2A/P and the Benrus and Hamilton Mil-W-46374, were issued with 16mm (although some used examples also noted as 17mm) olive green single pass nylon straps with fabric keeper. The original batch from 1965 had grey buckles. The later straps produced in 1969 had the matt black buckle. The weave is quite distinctive, and strap has heat sealed buckle holes and joints. Both generally have 'Stainless steel' marked on the back of the buckle.

This strap is issued and used but in very good condition overall. The width measures at just over 15mm which is unusual, but the buckle is the same as the 16mm straps (complete with 'stainless steel' marking) so possibly there has been some shrinking. There is no fraying or damage but the buckle holes and tail appear to have been re-sealed. Colour is also lighter/greener than the NOS straps.

Overall length is 255mm.
