Projects: 1980 CWC G10 'Fatboy' Navigator

CWC G10s are our bread and butter and we love them all, but some of them really stand out from the crowd. And the Fatboy navigators certainly make an impression - they are design perfection. This is one of many that we have had the privilege of servicing, including some of the very rarest CWC G10s on the planet. We were, for instance, pleased to have serviced the only known example of a 1980 non-lume Navigator, which subsequently sold for a very tidy sum at auction. This one recently came through our workshop and was in great condition so servicing presented no problems and turned out well. The ETA 536.121 movement was in good shape with no sign of any battery acid leakage or water ingress - just very dry lubrication. So it was stripped, cleaned, serviced and regulated. The damaged crystal was replaced and the case, back and battery hatch were ultrasonically cleaned and a full set of new gaskets fitted.
